User Guide Image Alt Text Checker
Overview
Use this tool to:
- Scan the page for accessibility elements on current images
- Alternative Text (Alt Text) is an alternative (non-visual) way to describe the meaning of an image
- Provide a brief description of the image for a screen reader user

Interface
The Image Alt Checker interface renders a list of all images found in the page contents. A red border is used to flag any image alt text that should be reviewed.
- 1. Image Preview
- A small thumbnail preview of the image
- 2. Decorative Checkbox
- Check to designate the image as decorative
- 3. Alt Text Input
- Type the alt text to set for the image
When image alt text is updated, the red borders and warnings will be removed.
