Customize the Style Style an Ordered or Unordered List

With the Ordered/Unordered List tool, you can change the formatting of existing ordered and unordered lists.

Note: You cannot create new lists with the Ordered/Unordered List tool.

Change List Style

To apply a style to a list, follow these steps.

  1. Open the page for editing.
  2. Launch the Design Tools.
  3. Place the cursor by an item in the list.
  4. On the Design Tools menu, click Customize the Style.
    1. If you have Intermediate or Advanced tools turned on, open Current Element Style
  5. In the Ordered/Unordered List panel, select the style to apply.
  6. Click Save.

Tip: If your cursor is in a list in the content editor, you can click the Jump to Current Element Style panel button in the jump menu to jump right to the Customize the Style and/or the Current Element Style section.

Pill List

The Pill List toggle will transform an ordered/unordered list from something like this:

Into something like this:

  • Item
